K: I am going off to Mexico and I have a parting discussion with the President
on our favorite subject. If Phenom Penh falls, blood will flow. Have they
speeded up the delivery of rifles?
P: I think everything is moving ahead. We have a message here. The first
team is following up on things. The problem is that the damn reporting system
doesn't keep up with us. I am working on that. Where are you going?
K: Mexico.
P: I may have to go. Penn Central problem.
K: Some of my colleagues said this morning they had toouble pinning Mel Laird
down. I said I knew that problem well.
P: They may have trouble pinning me down. If I go on this thing it will raise
a fuss. I will tell you ab out it some day.
K: OK
