S: I asked the special intelligence poeple to show you a couple of
things which indicate that our message is getting through to Moscow.
There are signs that what the President said on July 1 has been taken
seriously. There are two or three reports which I said be sure to show
to Henry. They are not taking lightly what he said publicly and also a
couple of complimentary things I said provately to Dobrynin.
K: Have you sorted out the list ofthings going to the Esraelis?
S: I have had one meeting on that--unless you hear from me you
can assume it's going positively. I think I may have located the source
of an important leak.
K: I hope not on my staff.
S: No, and not in this building, although an employee of this building.
K: Is this coming over now?
S: Let me call Cline's shop.
K: Okay, I will be sure to see it.
