For us it would be better if she didn't come at\nall. I think we should discourage her. But if she does come she is not to come\nhere with a shopping bag. If it's characterized as anything more than to give\na speech at the UN and informal tour with the President of what's going on but\nshe\nif she says anything about economic aid or military aid than we had better not\ncome at all. If this is agreeable with you I will take it up with Rabin.\nkfx He is becoming more of a diplomate every week.\nK: He is getting good.\nS: The President cannot put this on paper. Two months before elections he\ncannot turn it down but on a domestic point of view she comes here putting\nforth demands then it becomes another problem regarding elections and the\nJewish community. And this is not lost on the Israelis that she has leverage\nhere during the & elections.\nK: I understand your point.\nS: You can convey this to the President.\nK: One issue are reaised is cluster bomboing that Pranger is holding up. Why?\nS: He thinks it kills more than one person at one time.\nK: Is that ISA's job?\nS: No. He is afraid that when it's known klx to the Arabs that ti's American\nit will cause problems in Egypt.
