D: As of the moment, if there is a private Middle East discussion
is there anybody in the U. S. you would feel more useful than someone
chosen at random.
K: Let me think about that. Roger Fisher was pretty good.
D: Yes, we thought of him.
K: I don't necessarily agree with him on everything.
D: No, but he's informed and sees both sides.
K: Let me think about it.
D: Okay and on arms control, I think we agreed I would make a
speech on it. I think the whole Soviet gang will be coming. We were
wondering if we could come down.
K: What do you mean the whole gang?
D: Well, because of the Congress it might happen
K: Oh yes, I'11 be delighted to meet with our people or the
Soviet group.
D: Okay. Is there any shhedule in Vienna yet?
K: Not yet.
