S: The Israelis have agreed to the cease-fire. They want it tonight and not
Saturday, with some slight variations.
K: What's going on?
S: In the 6 hours between Rabin's talking to you and me and then the telephone
traffic.
K: I was pretty tough.
S: So was I. I think he told them we were rocks.
K: Can you get it done?
S: I will try. I doubt it. If not, they want no forward movement between
tonight and Sat.
K: Can they be that scared?
S: I hate to put it that way because it will look like they have a hard position
of being weak. I am wasting time on the phone. I have some things to do.
K: Right.
