D: I don't want to be aggressive -- I should have been. You will look
much better on my show -- and I will look better, too.
K: Don't use your feminine wiles on me -- I had wanted to go with you.
We just missed each other.
D: That's not a good analysis.
K: You should have called me on Friday.
D: What do I tell my people?
K: What I may do is scrap (?) every TV show that I am involved in. It is
turning into a real problem for me.
D: Today would have been a good show to go on.
K: I thought one shot to take away the mystery. It would have been good.
D: Yes, it would have been good. I have all the questions written are
you an ogre ?, etc.
K: As a practical matter it can't ben done before the 11th because I won't
be back until the 9th. No one schedules me -- not even the President.
Let
me see what I can do but as a practical matter it can't be done before the
11th.
D: That's what Klein told me.
K: No, it was perfectly possible last week.
D: I was on the phone back and forth with New York. Look, do Mike on a
different way and do me on a different way.
K: But now Herb Kaplow is in.
I am just frankly fed up with all of this.
I won't do anything more until I talk to you.
D: Look, I will make you beautiful, which you are, and I hope you will
make me look beautiful.
K: Which you are. What I may have to do is scrap (?) everybody except
