K: He has been trying to get me and my moronic people turned him off.
H: He talked to me last night. He is getting Edwards up here from Argentina.
Edwards has on his mind the state of moralein the Embassy. There's a
problem here.
K: Have you seen the cables in from Santiago? Have you seen the one that
Korry disavowed in his other cable. He said one cable that said there's no
chance is x and that he thinks there's a chance but he is the only one who
wrong
thinks SO in the embassy.
H:
He will be back Sun. or Mon.
K: I am calling a 40 Committee meeting for Monday. We will not let Chile
go down the drain.
H: I am with you. Let me just say one thing.
