On Greece, Turkey and all this\nother stuff I have no interest in that. It is a stalking horse for the\nothers but that is neither here nor there. The basic issue is why\nyou people were not involved.\nS:\nI would like to get together on how we think things ought to proceed.\nWe have talked about it enough that you and I have no disagreement\nabout it.\nK:\nI don't know how the impression could get around that we don't\nwant you involved.\nS:\nI don't know about an impression getting around but we haven t been\ninvolved in some important things.\nK:\nThings other than military aid?\nS:\nProbably has been, I can dig one up but this is the one I have in\nfront of me.\nK:\noperated on the assumption that it would not go out. Then\nI asked people to get up a package and then we were in the middle of\nconstant crisis. You tell me how you want it to work. I want\nSchlesinger involved, Schlesinger is substantively good. If you\ndidn't have him, I would put him on my staff.\nS:\nI will try to provide other examples."
