G: On Max -- I am trying to move our monumental lump of blubber. He is
very suspicious about the group.
K: You can't stop people who want to commit suicide.
G: I talked to Mitchell this morning about other things and got an evaluation
of what he is doing. Fund-raising and other things. I suggested that he (or I?)
might hear from John today or tomorrow.
K: If you make a big deal out of it it serves no Q purpose anym ore. If

you, I am talking about Max Fisher. We are not asking when to consitute the
group.
G: It's impossible to have a meeting without him.
K: That's up to you.
G: If it's valuable to have a meeting with him.
K: It's less valuable now. It would have been more valuable 4 weeks ago.
G: I knew nothing about it until this week.
K: It's headed for a series of showdowns and becoming a pressure play.
G: Do you have reason to believe it would be this week.
K: You should go to Mitchell or Finch. Any group he heads I would be have
my doubts about but let's look at the group.
G: I will keep you posted.
