HAK: I wanted to mention two things
one, I just want to check out this
appearance with Haldeman and the President. No reason for objection.
K: I was delighted it was possible and you can imagine here because it comes
right on top of the State of the World.
HAK: I want to get ground rules straight. I haven t talked about substance
of foregin policy on TV. I am stretching that here but I want to talk on what
this report tries to say. Questions SO I am explaining what's in the report
instead of profound new thoughts. But presumably it covers all problems.
K: It covers everyinning on people's minds.
HAK: But phrase the questions SO they focus on the report. Otherwise
it
will be hard to say why I don't talk before Congressional committees but
talk on TV.
K: You will get your high sign today?
HAK: Yes.
K: And if you will give me a call --
HAK: I will.
