P: They've prepared the way for it I guess.
K: That's right.
P: Said this is a raid on the road junction and it's the last three
or four days, so when they come out they won't say they've been driven
out.
K: That's right. They'11 say it from the beginning.
P: All right.
K: And we'll get a look at the plan within the next two hours, SO
I'll know more details then. One piece of bad news, an American company
in the southern part of I Corps, not in the combat area, was overrun yester-
day at night and suffered about 24 dead and it looks like gross negligence
because they got in there with a Sapper unit and they mustn't have been
patrolling. Haig thinks it looks like total negligence
