P: When the Congress gets back. And I don't want to do it while the Congress
is out of town.

P: Because I think it isa good source. So I'm going to do it on the 7th.

P: That's the same reason for everybody.
K: Right. I'11 give him that and I'll tell him that you are still playing with the
figure based on the length of time, you haven't decided yet whether to do it until
just after the election --
P: Ask him how many -- what's his view on that.
K: Right.
P: Why don't you ask him that.
K: Right. And I'11 also ask him for the Joint Chiefs' of Staff figure because
I know that's much lower.
P: Oh, yeah, they want a 75,000 by the end of the year.
K: That's right, so --
P: Jesus Christ!
K: But that will mislead him. That will make him think you are being driven
the other way.
P: Yeah. Well, the Joint Chiefs, Abrams and all the re$ are xxxxxixxgx going to
have to start growing up n ow.
