G: I called because I know you are concerned about the intelligence shortcomings
in recent operations and it reminded and reinforced to me that we should talk
to you about the sources of these things and what credence you can put to it. I
am concerned about cut outs between you and understanding ? ? ? ? . I wrote
you a letter but I know what your correspondence is like. I thoughtyou might
be able to use a senior knowledgeable man in Wayne Smith's office in the NSC.
What you can get out on current intelligence on ? ? ? ? . It might be handy
to have me to talk with WSAG. I think it's urgent that you understand these
things.
K: How do we do it technically?

When you come back to the East Coast you could come up to Baltimore.
K: I am interested in it and let me work something out.
G: Between what we are doing and what you axex are getting, that you should be
aware of.
