K: I think your Tass man will tell you we gave a constructive backgrounder

D: You may say your statement is authentic.
K: And it will be confirmed in Moscow?
D: No question about it.
K: Could you put it out from your press office?
D: Oh certainly, but it will take a couple of days.
K: I will tell the press here that the President's text is the authentic one.
D: They tried to translate it on their own.
K: Okay, but Moscow has got to straighten it out. This gets things off to the
worst possible start.
D: 1 know what I am talking about. I have your text -- I will give it to
Moscow right now.
K: And you will get Moscow to do it?
D: What is the difference?
K: They say "preparing a treaty1 -- that will get us involved with the
Senate.
D: Did you see this on the ticket?
