And that she has had long suffering but is forgiving.

K:
Did you call me?
B:
Yes, I called you because you said we might be able to get
together sometime this week.
K:
Yes.
B:
I don't want to mix business with pleasure this weekend.
K:
Let me call you tomorrow. Maybe we can get together Friday
sometime. I have an NSC meeting that will take much of my
time.
B:
Afternoon or morning?
K:
Morning.
B:
Tell me, do you think that the Mid-East initiative of Sisco's is
still alive or not?
K:
(laughter) I think we can control it -- I mean we can control
the situation from getting out of hand. I think it is sort of alive,
yeah.
B:
I don't know yet what I am going to write about this week but this
is a possibility.
K:
I11 tell you this, you won't be overtaken by events.
B:
The Israelis are taking a pretty negative attitude. A question of
whether I will follow it up with Egyptian.
K:
Don't think I can in its present form -- but I think we can keep
situation quiet anyway.
B:
If you can keep it quiet also in East Pakistan.
