In Los Angeles -- in a heat wave. But it' all right.

I was glad to see you.

It was exciting, but what a controversy.

It was about what we thought -- too emotional.

It had nothing to do with one's ultimate judgment.

We are having a dinner for Danny Kaye (who has been away for
a year) on the 23rd. We thought if you were in town, we would like
you to join us.

I might just be coming in that evening. Can I call you about that
when my schedule is clear? But I might come in a little late -- I will
be three hours behind you, but I am sure I could drop by.
V:
It will be very informal. We will barbecue since Danny likes
that
-- outside if it is warm. Let me know if you want to bring someone
or whatever.
K:
I will call you early next week. That would be wonderful.
V:
