B: Two thing S: First, at the Hoover Institute at Stanford the Board
of Overseers meets twice a year, once on the east coast and once on the west.
This year the eastern meeting will be in Washington in our shop. There are
stx 35 to 40 members, a pretty solid group. We wanted to do it in December
and I wonder if you are available for off-the-record remarks at the lunch.
We're talking about Friday, December 10 or any day during the following
week.
K: Could you work with my assistant. In principle I will do it, but
I don't have my schedule. Could you get someone to work with Coleman
Hicks?
B: Okay. And have you had any chance to think about our debate
program and the handling of the Nixon Doctrife. We're trying to find an
articulate, responsible person
K: How about Bill Kintner?
B: He has worked with us, I know him. We are looking for someone
who wouldn t project
K: I know what you mean. I will be back to you, really, within the
week.
B: Wonderful, and I11 talk with Hicks about this other.
K: Okay.
