K: By God, yes. I'm sorry we haven't managed to get together.
D: You've been busy.
K: I would like to, but there's been a problem with all these trips.
D: I understand. I am down Thursday and Friday, and Dorothy is there
alsol. If you have time, we might have a drink.
K: Let's aim for 6:00 on Thursday.
D: Good. I am staying at the Carlton. Did anything happen on the
schistosomiasis or should I put that through my normal channels?
K: We proposed it and they are studying it.

D: Okay. I sent an article down
K: I saw it, and I took it along. I don't think anything will happen
until after the P esident's trip.
D: I see. How aas the trip?
K: In many ways, this was less new, but more substantive than the last time.
D: I spent last night with Frank Yang (?).
K: What did he say?
D: Lot's of things.
K: These people have brainwashed me -- I have never seen such people
D: He said never in his wildest imagination could he believe any sociaty
could have changed that much in one generation.
K: But it retains its grace. L"t'a aim for 6:30 someplace. How about
the Metropolitan Club?
D: That would be fine, yes.
K: 6:30 at the Metropolitan Club, and they take women in the evening.
D: Very good. That's a tricky point.
