P: Rose just brought over this Pompidou thing. I have no objection but will
it
embarass him? Thank him for making arrangements. Giving Schumann chance
to say it's a good or 8 bad idea.
K: Good point. He hasn't done anything except facilitate arrangements. On the
other hand if we don't do it -- interrupts flow of speech.
P: Flow is no problem. I wonder if more ways for you to say it.
K: That's easy enough.
P: I know it's easy. The French Govt. has been ambivalent.
K: They dixdxxxx wouldn't disagree to secret meetings.
P: If you think it should be in then it will.
K: I think SO.
P: You will get a message this afternoon.
K: I will. But I am in good shape.
P: You are the one who will be busier tonight than I. At 7:00 we meet with Congress.
K: I will have a page for you by x 4:00.
P: No hurry. I will stay 10 mins. and leave.
K: Has Bill and Mel been told?
P: I haven't.
K: I itx will be talking with Bill about something else.
P: Maybe Haldeman told him.
K: I have to talk to him about something else. Iwill check with Bob.
P: Say leaders will be here and if he can it would be good for him to be here.
K: You will leave and he should conduct the meeting afterwards.
P: You will be ? ? ?
