Page 3 (laughs) so it's all a big lobbying activity, that we've organized here in the Treasury. HK: Should I drop both of theideas-- GS: Wha don't you just drop it and I don't-- HK: I'll keep an eye on it in the future George--Rose Woods does these idiot things GS: The only concern that Ihave is that at some point, I will ---travel around Euuope and people will think -people are supposed to think that I am involved in these things-- HK: You should as a matter of course be invited to every State Dinner for foreign guests. Because after all you are handling the foreign economic part. GS: I think that's right. It has been a startling omission--at this point, I don't like to be in the position of complaining about such stuff, because I feel like I am more like Bill Rogers which I m not. HK: No one is ever going to mistake you for Bill Rogers - I'll take care ofit. HK: Why aren t you at the prayer breakfast? GS: I just returned from the prayer breakfast-- HK: Okay, I'm just establishing my alibi--was I missed? GS: Everybody was looking around for you and there were several psuedo- - Kissinger's around with wigs and glasees trying to masquerade as you. Nobody was fooled. I. Stearns gave, I thought, a rather outstanding strong statement, as he is capable of doing, and the President was very good. HK: Good. GS: Okay, we will see you at breakfast tomorrow. HK: Right.
