Mel. We're putting out sort of a statement today on the Cambodian thing
in the form of answers to questions by Warren, whichis a restatement,
really, of the Presidential letter. I'd like Scowcroft to run it by you.
L:
O.K. Fine.
K:
He'll be up in about half an hour.
L:
Very good.
K:
He's translating it.
L:
Very good.

You don't appreciate my sense of humor.
L:
Yes, I know you are getting it translated. I understand your sense of
humor. It brought a good smile to my face. I didn't want to go overboard
because I know that you probably had to write the damn thing in the middle
of the night.
K:
I'11 send it to you.
L:
Well, send it to me in English.
K:
Good.

Fine.
