N: Hi Henry. I wondered if you could move Dobrynin up.
You could come up an hour earlier. What's your situation?
I don't want to
just tell me if
K: You mean have both of us come up earlier?
N: What I meant is just come and be here about 5 instead
of 6. What's your situation, just tell me if its not good.
K: No, we can make it.
N: I can talk to you on the phone in the afternoon to get
your read out and then you two can come right in when you
get here, we can have an hour and then you can have dinner.
Can you make it then?
K: I think 5:30 would be safer.
N: You mean be here at 5:30, leave there around 5:00, leave
on the helicopter at 5:00 ? Then in the afternoon you can talk
to me on the phone. I think I have got the background of what's
wanted.
K: I might come over for 10 minutes.
N: Why don't you send me some talking points.
K: OK, the major thing though, is not to back off on what was
done last week.
N: Say we can't have this kind of thing in the future. No sir.
K: No sir. and we both must learn from it or something like
that.
N: Exactly You tell him I have other plans for dinner. It's
just as well not to be too cozy, don't you think?
K: Exactly.
