R: I have to think our European and Japanese friends are worried.
K: Our Europeans will be more worried after the NATO meeting.
R: Well, I just wanted to tell you we are with you, praying to
God, burning candles for you.
K: Nelson, you are a good friend.
R: Well, its the truth.
K: I do hope to see you soon, I'll see you Monday night anyway.
Can I get away by 10:30 or so? Do you want me to say anything?
R: Sure you can get away. I would like you to say a little bit about
the old commission you ran and this one, in terms of how much
more complex things are today. In the old days you could consider
such things as health, education, etc, separately. Now
K: Oh, sure. I will do that extemporaneously.
R: That's fantastic Henry, and what's more all but three people
are coming.
K: Having worked with you before I know its fantastic but not surprising.
Fewer would probably come if they knew what's ahead of them.

R: If you are going to be here, could we get you to come to dinner
Sunday night. That would be marvelous. I would talk to you a little
bit.
K: I'll call you on Saturday morning.
R: I'm going to be in Washington tomorrow on the transit price
crisis.
K: Would you like to give me a call?
R: Sure, I'll call.
