TELECON
Ambassador Dobrynin
12:18 p.m., October 23, 1971
D:
It is the Soviet Ambassador.
H:
Hello, Mr. Ambassador.
D:
You are working on Saturday? You should just sit next to
the fireplace and have a nice drink. I have a reply on our last talk
on the Pakistan business -- an oral reply. To make it easy on a
weekend, I will put it in a sealed envelope to you and have my man
deliver it. It is what I heard from Moscow to give to you for the
President. How should I better do it?
H:
Have your man come in the front gate off Pennsylvania Avenue.
D:
Mr. Kuznetsov will deliver it in a sealed envelope to you --
the answer for the President.
H:
I'm very grateful.
D:
When do you expect Henry?
H:
Monday or Tuesday.
