Oh, General, excuse me for keeping you. Because I called, we have today
a private meeting at 7 ' clock with Secretary Rogers.
H:
Oh, yes.
D:
So I decided to call you before going because afterwards it will be a little
too late maybe.
H:
Yes. Well, I don't think anything was satisfactory today at all. And I
think Henry is coming back tomorrow.
D:
Uh-huh. You mean tomorrow there will be another session?
H:
There will be another session but I think it doesn't look like there's any
progress at all.
D:
Uh-humm.
H:
And that he's just going to come on back and we'll have a recess.
D:
Uh-humm. There was no discussion at today's meeting about recess?
H:
I'm not sure because he has not sent me the message he usually does. I
talked to him on the telephone.
D:
Oh, I see.
H:
And he said he would talk to you when he got back.
D:
Yeah, I understand.
H:
But it sounded to me to be very pessimistic.
D:
No, I mean, there was no discussion between Henry and Le Duc Tho
about recess, I mean? There was no discussion about recess?
H:
I think there was.

There was?

That they would recess.
