Mr. Kissinger
Cmdr Howe
Tape 2/7/71
H: Yes sir.
K: Hello, John.
H: Yes, sir.
K: The President would like from the Agency as soon as we can as much
as they can give us in terms of the number of men that we estimate have
come down the Ho Chi Minh Trail in the last six years -- you know say
since 165.
H: Right.
K: The tonnage of supplies.
H: Right.
K: And some rought estimate as to what it is composed of -- what we
how much we estimate in ammunition, how much in rifles. We know it
is
hard to do in other words in as much detail as we possibly can.
H: Yes, sir.
K: Of what's been coming down the Ho Chi Minh Trail say since American
forces were in Vietnam say from 65 to now.
H: Right.
K: Okay, can you do that for us?
H: Yes,sir.
K: Okay, good.
H: Fine.
K: Thank you.
