Yeah, but how in Christ's name can they give air support if they
don't know what's happening?
H:
I went through that very carefully and I think it's in very good
shape now.
K:
Yeah, but now -- I mean, either they were not giving air support
or they were and didn't put it all together.
H:
Well, two of these units just never communicated, they never passed
the word what kind of problems they were having.
K:
And they weren't getting air support?
H:
If they needed it.
K:
How could that be?
H:
Well, sir, it can happen. Had this one outfit go straight to the
pasture (?) But I think if it ends up on that other upswing why we're --
K:
Yeah, but when do they think that's going to happen?
H:
It will have to be at a later period but while there is still enough -- it
has to be when they can get a lot of assets.
K:
Yeah, I understand. But I don't think it's going to happen, I haven't
been wrong yet in my feel for this.
H:
No, you have not. But I can say on this one that I think it will.
K:
Okay, well, you know with what thoughts you were being sent out.
H:
Oh, I know.
K:
I mean this is an unbelievable surprise to everybody.
H:
Yeah.
K:
And you know what it will do to us domestically.
H:
I know
