APPENDIX "D"
THE AMERICAN LEGION'S
50TH ANNIVERSARY BANQUET FOR CONGRESS
SHERATON-PARK HOTEL
SATURDAY, MARCH 15, 1969
PRESIDENT'S SCENARIO:
At 8:55 p. m. you will depart the Statler Hilton Hotel by
motorcade arriving at the 24th Street Extension Entrance of the
Sheraton Park Hotel at approximately 9:03 p. m. You will be escorted
to a room immediately adjacent to the Sheraton Hall where you will
be met by William C. Doyle, National Commander of the American
Legion, and James C. Watkins, National Public Relations Director
of the American Legion.
NOTE:
You previously met Commander Doyle and
Mr. Watkins when you addressed the American
Legion's National Convention in New Orleans
on September 12, 1968.
Following Ruffles and Flourishes and Hail to the Chief at
approximately 9:07 p. m. you will proceed to the Upper Dias speakers
table accompanied by Commander Doyle and Mr. Watkins,
You will be seated with Mrs. Arthur B. Hanell, of California,
National President of the American Legion Auxiliary, to your left
and with Commander Doyle to your right.
Commander Doyle will introduce you as follows:
