MEMORANDUM

Bob Haldeman

Wiley Buchanan called the office again
today -- in his usual angry mood. Said you were supposed
to have had an appointment with some man who was to give
$50,000 and the appointment did not come off. The man is
leaving for Europe on Friday.
Said he is still trying to find out whether
Mitchell was successful in working out something for Clare
Booth Luce. Said "we are missing out on Mrs. Luce because
she will soon be leaving for Honolulu."
