Forwarded for your approval and signature are two more
reports of receipts and expenditures required to be filed
by candidates.
The first report attached at Tab A is required to be filed
in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Election
Campaign Act of 1971. At Tab B is another report required
to be filed under the provisions of Article 22, Chapter 163,
General Statutes of North Carolina. The only expenditure
made on your behalf in North Carolina was the $1,000 filing
fee paid by the Finance Committee for the Re-Election of the
President, which went out of existence on April 6.
Please note that these reports must be notarized and should
be signed on May 19.
