For your personal information, that person was Nancy Hamilton, the National Committeewoman of the Young Republicans, who was invited by someone in her firm to attend. Re your note about Gemma O'Brien: I had wanted to hire Gemma, but before our budget was cleared, she went to work for our San Francisco Countty Committe as a substitute for one of their regular staff who had to be hospitalized for a time. She is to be with the County Committee until after the Primary. In many ways, it is very good to have her in that spot. I'd already discussed this with Alan and we definitely are providing for hiring her in our budget for the General Election and want her very much to be with us. Per your instructions I have now talked with Gemma and told her that we will want her after the Primary. Sincerely, Emily Emily G.
