WASHINGTON
April 11, 1972
9:30 a.m.
MEMORANDUMFOR:
H. R. HALDEMAN
FROM:
DWIGHT L. CHAPIN
of
SUBJECT:
Campaign Documentaries
Attached you will find a letter from Warren Bush to Pete Dailey
requesting that Earl Mazo and Jim Keogh be retained as writers
for the documentary. You will note specifically in Warren
Bush's letter that he makes the point that they have a supervising
story editor and writer who can handle the translation of the
historical information to script form for the film.
We want to get your approval of retaining these two men prior
to moving off with it. Please make sure before reacting to this
memo that you read Bush's letter. I have also attached a copy
of Peter Dailey's note to me.
