SUBJECT:
Use of the Kennedy Center
Box by the Campaign Committee
Bob's agreed to let the Committee use the tickets to the
President's boxes at the Kennedy Center for business pur-
poses only. He understands this would include inviting
big contributors and various state committee chairmen, etc.
He would, however, like to see a proposal for each event,
including the names of all people attending. Because of
the system set up for use of the box by White House Staff,
it's a good idea to get these requests in at least two
weeks in advance.
If you have any questions please let me know.

Mr. Haldemamasked me to thank you for your
kind letter of offering to help re-elect the President.
He has requested that your letter be forwarded to
the Committee for the Re-election of the President -
a group of citizens like yourself who have begun
thinking about and planning for the campaign.
You should be hearing from them in the near future.
