STPEHEN B. BULL FROM: ROBERT C. ODLE, JR. Just to confirm our conversation, Mr. Stans today approved the expenditure of $250,000 for Presidential gifts, but asked that we hold to that amount. On another subject, attached are two suggested guest lists for after-dinner entertainment following the December 16 dinner for members of the Eisenhower and Nixon Cabinets. As you requested, we have prepared two lists: the first is Young Voters for the President national and field staff (salaried and volunteer). This list was prepared by Ken Rietz. The second list is a selected group of 1701/ 1730 staff, most of whom are between the ages of 21-25, and all of whom are under 30. These are the people on the staff who worked in divisions other than Youth. There are a number of Blacks, and many attractive young women, some of whom are secretaries, but not all. Please let me know if you have any questions. Attachments bcc: Mr. Bruce A. Kehrli w/o attachment
