THE PRESIDENT HAS SEEN THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON DINNER IN HONOR OF THE POSTMASTER GENERAL AND MRS. BL LOUNT The White House June 29, 1971 8:00 p. m. Dress: Black Tie Long dresses for the ladies Arrival: 8:00 p. m. your guests will arrive and will be escorted to the East Room for cocktails The Postmaster General and Mrs. Blount will be escorted to the Red Room Entrance: 8:10 p. m. you and Mrs. Nixon will proceed to the State Floor by elevator proceed into Red Room where the Blounts await you 8:12 p. m. proceed from the Red Room into the Grand Hall in receiving line positions (Mr. Blount to your right; then Mrs. Nixon; then Mrs. Blount) pause in Grand Hall for Ruffles and Flourishes and announcement enter East Room as "Hail to the Chief" is played NOTE: Colors are pre-positioned in East Room. You receive your guests from a position just inside the entrance to the East Room Dinner: At the conclusion of the receiving line, you and Mrs. Nixon and Mr. and Mrs. Blount follow your guests into the State Dining Room Round tables
