THE PRESIDENT HAS SEEN, VISIT TO THE 57TH ANNUAL MEETING CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF THE UNITED STATES SHERATON-PARK HOTEL TUESDAY, APRIL 29, 1969 THE PRESIDENT: At 2:45 p.m. you will depart the White House by motorcade arriving at the 24th Street Extension Entrance of the Sheraton-Park Hotel at approximately 2:55 p.m. You will be escorted to a room immediately adjacent to the Sheraton Hall where you will wait while Mr. Allan Shivers, Chairman of the Board, Chamber of Commerce of the United States and Chairman of the Board of the Austin National Bank, Austin, Texas, introduces you. After you have been announced you will be escorted to the podium on the near side of the stage. You will then deliver brief remarks to the approximately 2, 500 assembled businessmen and their wives. NOTE: Suggested remarks have been prepared. There will be full press coverage. It is estimated that your participation will be of approximately 10-15 minutes duration at the conclusion of which you will be escorted from the stage. As you depart you will briefly shake hands with Mr. Arch N. Booth, Executive Vice President, Chamber of Commerce of the United States and Mr. Jenkin Lloyd Jones, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States and Editor and Publisher of the Tulsa Tribune, Tulsa, Oklahoma. You will depart the Sheraton Hall the way you came in and return to the White House by motorcade arriving at approximately 3:30 p.m.
