weight. I was counsel to RN, but I didn't counsel RN. 11

UPI says WH hinted Dean didn't actually conduct investigation
attributed to him by RN. RZ said Pres repeatedly inquired of aides if
any high-ranking staffers were involved but wouldn't say if RN inquired
of Dean. RZ left open possibility someone other than Dean assured Pres
there was no WH involvement.
After noting reported Dean deposition concerning delay in signing
campaign law, Schorr added Dean said Justice staffers were studying
ways to "stretch" law, including how to get money from firms w/ gov't
contracts. Dean also said he moonlighted as adviser to CREP and wrote
