Dear Dr. Vold:
In my letter of December 28 I inconded to
mention, in view of the interest you expressed, that
the Subconsittee on Communications of the Senato Con-
merce Committee has recently published the complete
1960 campaign speechs and papers of both presidential
candidates. A full courrage of my campaign is cca=
tained in volumes II and III of the 4-voluno set -
published as Senate Report 994, parts 2 and 3, and
available from the Superintendent of Documents, U.S.
Government Printing office, Hashington 25, D.C.
(Total cost for the two volumes, $5.50.)
At the same timo, I vented you to know that
us will have very much in mind your suggestions with
regard to my campaign for Coveraor. It might be
fossible to put out a more compact version of the
above material, possibly in the form of selected "High-
lights. As fee my forthcoming book, Six Crisis, st
will hit the bookstanda late necet month and will also
be excerpted in three issues of Life Magazine.
Needless to say, I was pleased to note
that you and John Braduay are now collengues, and I
hope you will pass along to him my very best regards.
Mgain, my thanks for your was and generous
support of my candidacy and for all your excellent
suggestions, I will be counting on you for your views
in the months ahood.
With every good wish,
Sincerely,
DN
