Dear Mendel:
Before he gets too far into this campaign, Dick
Nixon would like to meet with some of his friends in the
Southern California business community. Therefore, he and
I hope that you will join us and a group of your colleagues
for lunch in the Sunset Room of the California Club at
12 o'clock on Friday, February ninth.
The purpose of this get-together is not to raise
funds but to have an informal and off-the-record exchange
of views on matters of mutual interest and concern.
In order that we may make our plans, it would be
very helpful if you or your secretary would call Mrs. Kinsey
at DUnkirk 5-9161 and let her know if it is convenient for
you to attend this luncheon.
