COPY February 15, 1960 Mr. Mendel B. Silberberg 6399 Wilshire Boulevard Los Angeles 48, California Dear Mendel: I appreciated receiving your letter of February 9 in which you discussed several matters of mutual interest. The information you provided regarding the offer of office space in downtown Los Angeles has been forwarded to Tom Pike at the Nixon for President Headquarters. I am sure he will be interested in finding out more about this from you. I am taking the liberty of referring the information concerning Mr. O'Brian of Des Moines, to Mr. W. Harold Brenton of that city with the request that he follow through on this matter. The Vice President's schedule does not include a trip to Southern California in the very near future, but I will be in touch with you if and when plans in this regard become firm. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness in writing as you did. Warmest regards. Sincerely, Robert H. Finch Administrative Assistant to the Vice President
