Dear Mendel:
Many thanks for your letter of April 19
with which you enclosed a copy of a letter you
sent to the New York Daily News.
Like you, I sometimes find it hard to
understand how these rumors get started. How-
ever, most of them would have a lot shorter life
if your example were followed of nailing them in
their tracks, as your letter of April 17 did so
well.
I am sure you know how much I appreciate
your continued approval and support.
