My best wishes for assisting the President in his final 2 years. you
were certainly my choice to get the nomin ation in 1988, but &
am ready to support you and him any way possible in overcoming some
of these immediate problems we all face
black white context sometimes (not to sound dogmatic here), and their
national security people do + feel, tend to see things in a
ethic bears monitoring This nation has proved quite resilient
geal to "jump off a building because it will protect my country"
throughout its life. Heroic derringo -do by individuals with
tunnel vision has not in my judgment been a factor. Most
of the framers of the Constitution would turn in their reating
responsible leaders attempted suicide because he thought he
places if they had so much as an inking that one our
had failed his country. There are definite blind spots in
the makeng of personality in some of these security /intelligence/
spy individuals. of know you are going to succeed in the tasks you
have accepted.
