PURPOSE
To be interviewed for a cover story for "M" Magazine's
second issue.
II. BACKGROUND
The interview will be on the President's values and philosophy.
The questions will be personal and introspective in nature,
centering on the President's inner strength and personal
satisfaction. The interviewer indicates the following types
of questions: Where do you get the inner strength to deal
with the difficult problems you face each day? What makes
you so optimistic? How can you sleep well at night after
having had hard days? Why do people feel better about them-
selves and about life when they see and hear the President?
How do you relax? What art and books do you like?
"M" is a new magazine published by Fairchild Publications.
This will be the centerpiece of the second issue, illustrated
with a large selection of White House photographs of the President
III. PARTICIPANTS

IV. PRESS PLAN
