3/14/24 Mr. Viedt. ORGANIZATION. While the general conclusions of the Life Extension Institute are just as I anticipated, it is very gratifying to have your letter of the 12th and copies of bulletin and Life Extension Institute letter of the 11th. As you say in the bulletin, Dr. Drinker's work will require several weeks. In the meantime, however, your operators ought to be fully convinced that there is no injurious element in zinc. It seems to me, therefore, that you ought to successfully build up the Application Department in a reasonable time. Work is coming in stronger right along and there are indications that fairly substantial quantities of water paste application as well as Rosemary application jobs are to be expected in increasing Quantities. A letter just received from Illinois Watch Case Company shows that they are going into the luminous wrist watch business extensively. You have the first 200 dials at the Plant now. As soon as these are finished, we will receive 300 more. I am writing this because of the importance of building the Application Plant organization and think that you should have no unreasonable trouble now. Yours truly, - A. Roeder - AR/HM
