Dear Tr. Drinker:
Thanica for your two lettersof June 27, one
enclosing report on films. There is another thought that hos
just occurred to me becmise we are doing practically no worl: in
our Ayplication Department. The Plant there usually has two boom
perioda in the year, one in the Spring and one in the Toll. We are
now in the Summer sincl time. It had not occurred to me before, bat
this foct my be import nt for you to Just as you found et
Walthm, 002 operators do not work contimously.
To mnice this thing practical, I em going to ask lir.
Viedt to sumarize the records of employment of the various operators,
particularly those the have beon afflicted with the mysterious disease.
If the records are complete, some very interesting data will be forth-
doming. My impression is that most of these operatorn voriced less
then half a yoar wherens those in the Piant tho really honile Redivun
work pretty mch ell the time.
I vill repent again that I agree with you that all
procautions should be talson, but I still feol that tre have to finit the
cause.
