Dear Mr. Roeder,
I have just received a letter from Mr. McGlynn in
which he says that the motion to advance the case on the
list was not heard on Saturday because Judge Mountain was
not in court. Mr. McGlynn also stated in this letter that
in a conversation with him Mr. Kalisch had stated that his
proof of the knowledge of your company as to the dangerous
character of the luminous paint was in the form of a letter
which was sent to you about a year previous to the time
when Miss Carlough's trouble started. Mr. Kalisch says he
has a copy of this letter. I would suggest that you ex-
amine your files and attempt to discover the letter which
he has in mind.
Yours very truly,
