MEMORANDUM OF CONFERENCE BETWEEN MESSRS. ROEDER, LEE, VEITT, McGLYNN AND STRYKER ON MAY 4, 1925. 1. Communicate with and retain Dr. Washington and secure suggestions from him concerning some other doctor to be present at the physical examination. (NOTE: Mr. McGlynn has retained Dr. Washington, who has suggested Dr. Ill). We assume that the examining physician will take a smear from the lesion for bacteriological or other examination. (Mr. McGlynn). 2. Select and retain & dentist to examine plaintiff. (Mr. McGlynn). 3. Communicate with Mr. Flinn and see what he has accomplished in the way of research work. (Mr. Roeder). 4. Investigate regarding plaintiff's family and history. (Mr. McGlynn). 5. Secure death certificate of plaintiff and of the other employees who died from jaw necrosis. (NOTE: I understand that this has been done and that a report of the investigation will soon be ready). (Mr. McGlynn). 6. See Roache of the Department of Labor con- cerning data received from other factories engaged in similar line of work. (Mr. Stryker). 7. Communicate with Waterbury Watch Company, Ansonia Clock Company and Luminick Company. (Mr. Rosder). 8. Ask Dr. Field if he can recommend a doctor who specializes in occupational diseases. (Mr. Roeder). 9. Ask Dr. Field for his report and also if he can recommend medical works on radium necrosis osteomyelitis (Mr. Roeder). 10. Secure history of all employees of U.S. Radium Corporation who have had necrosis, including period of employment and any other data and records of company. (Mr. Roeder). 11. Send Mr. Stryker all life extension reports, X Ray pictures and other records of the case. (Mr. Roeder). 12. Secure life extension reports from Life Ex- tension Institute and secure complete X Ray pictures unless they are now in files of Radium Corporation. (Mr. Roeder).
