June 22, 1925. Dr. Frederick B. Flinn, College of Physicians and Surgeons, 437 West 59th St., New York City. Dear Dr. Flinn: I am sorry that in my absence Mr. Lee was unable to make the arrangement that you suggested in your note of June 17. I have just phoned Mr. Fort who says that he will be glad to see you at the Luminite Corporation any time. The address is 24 Scott Street, Newark, N. J. At present he has only three operators, but his forelady, Miss Rooney, is interesting because she has been in the luminous material game about as long as any one in this country. It will be unnecessary for you to make any special appointment for the Luminite visit and if Mr. Fort, the owner, is not there, he will have left word with Miss Rooney, the forewoman, so that you can go right ahead. It is encouraging to have the results of your inspection at Ansonia Clock Company. There are some questions that I would like to ask about this work and I am wondering whether it would be convenient for us to get together some time soon, preferably in New York now since I am not living in Orange. Mr. Lee leaves for New England tomorrow on a regular visit to some of the watch and clock factories. He will endeavor to make arrange- ments for you at the New Haven Clock Company, New Haven, Conn., the E. Ingraham Clock Company, Bristol, Conn., and I have suggested to him also that in view of the present publicity the Waterbury Clock Company may be inclined to change their minds in regard to an examination. In this connection I have also again written to the superintendent there to-day. I wonder if you would be good enough to give me a ring on the phone some time to-morrow morning after 9:30. I am not calling you because I do not want to disturb you in the middle of some work that you may. be doing. Yours truly, President. ARoeder-HM
