My dear Doctor Reitter:
The basal metabolic rate in the
case of your patient, Josephine Smith, is
minus seven per-cent, thus representing
a low normal and not being indicative of
anyanormal function of the gland at this
time.
Thank you very much for referring
this case to me. If this patient has been
under definite treatment, it might be well
to have the test repeated after all treatment
have been stopped.
