March 30, 1926. Dr. Jrederick B. Flinn, c/o Coluzibia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons, 437 West 59th Street, New York City. Dear Dr. Flinn: I am sending you enclosed a chock for $1,653.00 because it looks as though the Insurance Company would talce more time to alean up this transaction than I think they ought to. I thinle perhaps it would be better if I said nothing to the Insurance Company about this transaction, but let them go right ahoad and send you mother cheale for the some amount which you could turn back to us. This will probably speed things up with the company since I have explained the situation to them. The suits are in process of settloment unless some now development takes place ought to be off the board within a week or so. The publication of your paper could then follow without it appearing to be a discussion of these aasos in the medical press. Howevor, it is not for this reason that I have not been in touch with you sooner, but meroly that X have been umsually busy. I am looling forward to getting together with you for a discussion very soon now. Cordially, Pres ident Enclosure.
